ABOUT US

Our Managing Director Florence Gray founded Nightingale in 2002 after she completed her 3 year training programme with Glasgow Marriage Counselling Service (RELATE). Florence worked in Glasgow Marriage Counselling for six years before she established her own private counselling practice. She is qualified in Psychodynamic couple counselling and draws on other models of therapy including person – centered, Tran-actual analysis and cognitive behavioral therapy.

She is certificated in Person – centered counselling from Strathclyde University, where she studied the methodologies of Carl Rodgers under the teaching of Dave Means.

Prior to counselling Florence had a long and successful career working for and in large corporate organisations in a variety of roles. She gained expertise in Coaching, Training and Business Development.
